The Little Prince (1974)

The Little Prince is a 1974 American–British fantasy-musical film with screenplay and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, music by Frederick Loewe. It was both directed and produced by Stanley Donen and based on the 1943 classic children-adult's novella, Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince), by the writer, poet and pioneering aviator Count Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, who disappeared near the end of the Second World War some 15 months after his fable was first published.

The Little Prince is traveling the stars to "learn what love is". As questioned by The Rose, "how can you love me if you don't know what love is?" (That's like asking any sentient creatures (and varying definitions thereof) "How can you know what FREEDOM is if you have never been FREE?")

Never put your trust in snakes. Bob Fosse, whom helped invent "The Moonwalk", sings a song "Snake in the Grass" and tells "The Little Prince" "one sting .... it's ALMOST painless". Of course Bob Fosse didn't copyright, trademark, nor invent "The Moonwalk", it wasn't called that until Micheal Jackson named it as such. To say that Bob Fosse "invented The Moonwalk" would be like saying "Babe Ruth invented Baseball". True, Bob Fosse highly INFLUENCED what became "The Moonwalk", but it is not the same thing as "inventing".
