The Wizard!
A boy and his brother run away from home and hitch cross country with the help of a girl they meet to compete in the ultimate video game championship.
This movie was not much more than a walking, talking video game commercial (mostly for Nintendo), a feat not usually attempted by movies of any decade (TV Shows yes, but not many movies)
One of the "blooper comments" not edited out of the release of the film was "you got 50,000 (Points) on Double Dragon! Wow!" (to which, on the Arcade and NES Home Editions of the game would have been accomplished near the very end of the game, not near the beginning, if even at all.), "Keep your Power Glove of of her", a product that hardly ever worked, even while plugged in the way that it should, and last but not least, if "The Wizard" (Jimmy) knows a lot of the tricks of the Video Games that he is playing (before their release even) why do they need to keep calling the "Nintendo Power Game Help Line" that often (and how are they paying for the calls, anyway?)
