Land of the Lost (2009)

On his latest expedition, Dr. Rick Marshall is sucked into a space-time vortex alongside his research assistant and a redneck survivalist. In this alternate universe, the trio make friends with a primate named Chaka, their only ally in a world full of dinosaurs and other fantastic creatures.

This movie is based loosely upon the Sid & Marty Kroft tv series of the 1970s. Amongst the many sight gags are the inscription "Beware of the Sleeze-stacks" (the lizard men) which despite said statement being in plain sight, no one EVER reads it, let alone pays attention to. There are also quite a few "past relics" of American tourist traps scattered about this "other dimension", as well as "future relics" from many worlds, times, and places.
